Is It Possible to Get Google Ads Free?
Last blog post we talked about Google and gave you a checklist you need to follow to construct a campaign Google will absolutely love.
Today, we are going to talk about how to get highly relevant and converting Google traffic for no cost at all!
We are going to solve any mystery behind this (if there ever was), and help you understand what these high ticket courses and such are talking about when they say they are going to show you how to get Google Ads for FREE!
The breakdown…
Google has paid and natural search listings. You cannot get paid positions for without paying, you pay for each click through your Google Adwords account. So, no, you cannot get PPC traffic for free.
Anyone that tells you otherwise is.. well… LYING!
When people talk about traffic that costs nothing, they are referring to what we call natural search listings. These are the listings that you will see down the middle of the page when you perform a Google search.
Through research, it has been proven that people that are seeking the most relevant search results typically look down the middle, and people that are more geared towards buying something, look to the right (the paid search results).
In both cases, people will buy from both paid and natural search listings if your content is relevant and your offer is relevant.
How to get the “middle” listings?
The best way and the most common technique is Article Marketing. You may have heard this term in the past, or you may have heard “bum marketing”, both are the exact same thing.
This is how it works:
- You write an article that targets a relevant search term
- You submit this content to an article directory
- Google (and other search engines) pick up your page from this directory (since it has a high page rank)
- You get ranked in Google under the search term
- You article gets “clicked” and someone buys from it (you get paid)
This 5 step process is the bare bones of a successful article marketing campaign. There are some impact points of a campaign that can make the difference between making money and not making money, and these should be considered before every article you write:
(1) The keyword you target
If your keyword is not relevant to your market and does not target people who have buying power, what is the point? For example, a term like “download music for free” attracts the wrong audience, where “buy Michael Jackson thriller download” would be much more targeted and attract the right audience.
(2) Which directory you submit to
The best directories are the ones with the highest page ranks and that get “seen” by Google the most. These directories are ezinearticles.com, squidoo.com, goarticles.com and usfreeads.com.
(3) What product you are promoting
If you are not promoting a product/service that is relevant to the keywords that get listed under, then there is no point. If someone is search for “best dog training program” and you offer natural dog food recipe within your article, you will not be 100% targeted, thus affecting your earning potential. Be relevant!
(4) If the article “makes” sense
Trying to plug keywords within your article just to “plug keywords” is not a good idea. If your article does not have flow and does not make sense, nobody is going to read it. You need to be strategic with your writing so that you are not only targeting keywords, but it makes sense to the reader!
Next time you hear “Get Google Ads For Free”, understand that this is a tricky way of saying SEO, or more specifically, article marketing.
More to come on this in the coming days….

I purchased “Get Google Ads for Free..” just over a year ago. Dr. Jon Cohen had promised “4 Power Lessons,” along with the purchase, but I never received the 4th one. Sometime after, I received a report written by David Congreave… “Get Google Ads Free: The Missing Pages.” In short, over-spending could become a major risk unless you have calculated a “monthly Adwords budget based on the amount of advertising revenue that you obtain in advance,” and, of course, “the more advertising revenue you obtain, the more money you can afford to invest in your campaigns.”
Ps
Having now read all the above articles almost all of them are wrong you do not have to use banner ads or adsense ot anything like it Everybody seems to be missing the sinple point staring them in the face
By the way I didn’t get it either until I was told by someone else but it is blindingly obvious.
All the best,
Gary
I understand that the: “Get Google Ads Free” is in fact a(one)way to put together co-op advertising to pay for Google and co-op advertising has been done for many many years. What I’d like to know is the “step by step process” (can’t take too long to write in some detail here) of how this is done. Getting this out will clear the air for a bunch of folks. Not just a “drive-by” explanation please. A little bit more care. We have enough of this quick and unusable explanation stuff on the internet. This explanation is/may be for someone who has not done it. So jargon that (only) you may understand need not be used please. This will be of great help. the other explanations, other than this co-op advertising method appear less valuable so focusing on the co-op ads (internet space sold to pay for your own (in turn) Google advertising) is sought here. Just the facts needed not what I understand to be a couple of dozen pages of fluff. Thank You. John
I absolutely hate those ads that say you get google adwords for free. It is impossible. I think what they are talking about is if you can manage to make more money from a sale than an ad costs then you basically get it free because part of your profit covers the cost of the clicks.
Anyway, good post.
That is the best way to get around a google slap that I have ever heard of. Thanks a ton.

Kyle, You are absouluty correct that Adsense is an affiliate killer if you use it on your pages.
If you read Dr.Jon Carons Book “Get Goggle Ads Free” ( you don’t really get the ads free you just don’t use your money), you will see that the concept he is talking about will teach you this exact concept of not using Adsense. It teaches you how to sell ads on your site, (for a whole lot more than Goggle pays you), so you don’t need Adsense and You control what ads go on your site, so they are not direct competion. When you sell these ads you can cover your advertising costs and not lose customers to Adsense.
There are a lot of good adevrtising concepts in this book that have been done offline for years.
When you stuff your pages with Adsense make sure they link back to your own affiliate offers and sales pages, you own adwords.

Arbitrage worked 5 years ago…the people that experience success with it now is few and far between.
Adsense is an affiliate campaign killer…whether you know it or not. Someone that comes to your page, sees and adsense link and clicks it will actually lose you money.
The reason for this is that this person may have been interested in your offer, but was distracted by a link (that was relevant to your offer), thus left your page. The person advertising on the other end benefited from the relevant traffic, not you.
You essentially trade pennies for what could have been dollars when you stuff your pages with Adsense.
Top affiliates promote products, struggling affiliates tend to see Adsense as a way to hedge advertising costs, when in fact it is limiting their success.
Cheers,
Kyle
@Ed – That will surely mess your QS up really bad. Doing something like that sounds like it would work great but only in theory. What do you think will happen when Google scans your ad?
Yes marketing is always attracting people to buy product you are selling. The ways to attract or create interest are different.
Using Free keyword attracts people but not ready buyer.

Shirish
Thanks for the info.
I’ve been seeing that ad but couldn’t believe.
You just testify my doubt.
I appreciate.

Your explanation is incorrect!
Susanne is right. The “Get Google Ads Free” method has nothing to do with organic listing.
If you would read the Get Google Ads free ebook you would know that the method is based on buying click to your site on which you have Relevant ads you sold to other companies.
So basically you not only offset your cost, you – hopefully – get also a Profit
More less: Google Arbitrage
I know the system refered to. The idea is to put advertising banners on the landing page, so that the income from those offsets the ad cost.
Problem is that people will only click on ONE link – EITHER the banner OR your own offer!
Good post about article marketing, but Suzanne is correct – the vast majority of the time when you hear that phrase it is referring to either the original product or the follow up course and videos which centre on selling advertising space on the landing page.
I have also occasionally seen it used for Adsense Arbitrage which basically is when cheap Adwords traffic is sent to Adsense content pages that earn more than the traffic costs.
Hey guys – thanks for putting this out there. It’s dishonest and very misleading to use the term “Google Ads free” when they’re not ads at all – they’re search engine listings.
I appreciate your info on this.
-Tonya B.
Good points made.
However, when people refer to getting Google Ads for Free, they might be talking about bidding up to the number one position for a search term, and offering banner ad space on their landing page, hence covering the cost of advertising with Adwords.
I have looked into this subject before. As you mentioned you do have to pay for your google ads. But some teach a way you can offset the price you pay for google clicks by having a link of your own from which you get paid every time someone clicks on it. Obviously if no one clicks on that link you don’t get paid by the company whose link you are advertising. So some marketers set up their web page in such a way so that as soon as someone clicks on their google ad they end up on a web page that actually also counts as a click for ppc for the owner of that web page, before they are redirected to the actual page they need to get to. So in other words they pass through a web page that appears for a fraction of a second and then a message comes up saying you are being redirected. All this happens in a matter of seconds until finally the person is redirected to the actual page where the product is. But the web page that briefly appeared between the google ad and the final page was from a company that is paying the owner of that website for every click on their link. I think this is the understanding behind getitng google clicks for free but I am sure there are variations
Another method for free ads is to use arbitrage.
Just a fancy way of sayıng adsense.
Posting the article to your blog also works very well.

Wow that was one meaty and helpful post Kyle. Keep it coming please
Hey guys,
Good stuff…I’m pumped to see what you’ve been up to with PPC.
It’d be great if I could only pay you instead of paying $50/month for PPC Classroom, too!
Take it easy,
Kyle
P.S. – Some of these “Get Google Ads for Free” course discuss gaming the system with free advertising credits, but it’s honestly more difficult than it’s worth! As I’ve learned from you guys (and personal experience), your Quality Score is impacted by your entire account, as well as specific ads.
So, starting a brand new account to get a $100 free credit can allow you to test something out, but it will NOT work to try this over and over.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to see what you’re up to! =)
Thanks for the great tips.
